The Vézère from its most beautiful point of view ...
Departing from the Pont de Peyrissac or the Pont de Vernéjoux (Eyburie / Chamboulive), discover the Vézère on a route accessible to all. Hidden in the greenery, this superb river offers itself the time of a refreshing stroll, with alternating small rapids and quieter portions.
From June to September, and depending on the water level, we offer two routes (in 1-person kayak or 2-person canoe):
- from Pont de Peyrissac to Pont de Vernéjoux (Eyburie): 7 km from 1:15 to 2:15,
- from the Pont de Vernéjoux (Eyburie) to La Minoterie (Uzerche): 10 km for half a day (from 2h to 3h30).
Reservation required on 06 31 31 02 92:
- call the day before before 7 p.m. for a departure the next day at the earliest.
- for a desired departure during the day, call before 11 am at the latest. Subject to availability.
Free parking. Dogs accepted (under your responsibility).
Holiday Centers and ANCV approval. Affiliation to the French Canoe-Kayak Federation and UFOLEP. Youth and Sports accreditation, National Education.
Note: duration of the course given as an indication subject to the water level of the day and your level of practice.
Ban on disembarking on the banks of the river (private property), ban on swimming or picnicking on the course.
The price / pers. includes the rental of a 1-seater kayak or a 2-seater canoe + ascent by minibus. € 15 for the 7 km route, € 20 for the 10 km route.
You must: be at least 8 years old, know how to swim 25 meters, be able to fully immerse yourself.
Bring: closed shoes (sneakers that are not afraid of water or closed water shoes), bathing suit and towel, spare t-shirt, preferably synthetic clothing.
CAUTION: in summer, the water level sometimes requires disembarking to carry out a few meters of portage.
