Under the patronage of the National Museum of Natural History in Paris, this centre is a showcase for the geological collection established by Docteur Louis Puyaubert in the late 19C and early 20C. A doctor from Tulle, he was also an eminent naturalist who was particularly fascinated by mineralogy – 3,000 samples out of the 6,500 collected by him can be viewed in 20 display cases here. Open Wednesday afternoons, 3-7.30pm, from 4 July to 29 August. Group bookings by prior arrangement on 06 87 34 72 68 . Duration: 40 mn. Free admission.
