Between the hamlets of Brette and Gasquet, at the western end of the Xaintrie Noire plateau, a farmhouse tirelessly scans the horizon. The spring, meadows, woods, buildings and granite soil have remained intact. Farming has ceased, so in early 2022, in this fertile, unspoilt setting, the vats of the Brasserie Petit Monde replaced the Limousin cows and Montbéliardes nannies.
