In business for 18 years, they have built their own home step by step: LA FERME DES 2 YOURTES. A small 18-hectare family farm with a flock of 4 breeds of wool sheep; shetlands, wensleydale, mérinos de Bourgognes and Clun forest.
Their time is divided between wool production and processing
Some of the wool is spun on a spinning wheel in a local spinning mill, part of France's heritage, and is patterned and knitted by hand in the farm's workshop. Dyes are derived from mainly local dye plants and/or acid pigments free of heavy metals (GOTS and AB label), and made directly on the farm.
