An atypical vacation home, that's what travelers often say about the Moulin de la Doux. The elegant, high-rise building in which you'll be spending your vacation has lived several lives. In the 13th century, it was first used as an abbey by Templar monks. Its Gothic arched openings bear witness to this. Around 1660, the abbey, near the Doux, a tributary of the Couze, was naturally transformed into a sunflower oil mill and a grain mill. At the time, the mill belonged to the lord of the castle of Couzage! Forgotten for several centuries, the mill was reborn in the 2000s, following extensive restoration work by its former owners.
