Situated 10 km from Argentat, the Via Ferrata Dordogne is a family-friendly facility (people over 1.30 m tall and children under 16 accompanied by adults). The rocky itineraries are equipped with cables, rungs, monkey bridges and footbridges, and can be completed freely under the full responsibility of the participant, who must respect the rules and instructions, or in a group, under the responsibility of a qualified guide. All "ferratists" are required to wear the appropriate protective equipment, including a helmet and a harness fitted with two shock-absorbing lanyards. Good footwear is also essential.
